Those averages are not a lender quote, and they are not applied until you choose one. The 10-year mortgage figure on the mortgage calculator stays an example, because the rates feed does not include a 10-year mortgage series.

FHA, VA, USDA, and conventional mortgage-insurance figures use assumptions stored in the calculator, last reviewed on the date shown there. They are not current agency or lender quotes.
